Who we are
Ruby Jewellers, Lahore ("Ruby Jewellers", "the house", "we", "us") has made fine jewellery since 1957. We run two jewellery houses in Lahore, Pakistan, at The Galleria, 26-Z Commercial Zone, Phase 3, DHA, Lahore 54797, and on Maclagan Road, Lahore, and this website at rubyjewellers.com.pk. Ruby Jewellers is responsible for the personal information described in this notice.
We take your privacy seriously and follow applicable Pakistani law, including the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2016.
What this notice covers
This notice applies to information we receive through this website, through the forms on it, by telephone, email and WhatsApp, and in person at either house. It explains what we collect, why, who sees it, how long we keep it and the choices you have.
Other websites we link to, such as FortuNorth, map services or Instagram, have their own privacy notices, and this notice does not cover them.
Information you choose to share
We collect personal information when you contact us. For an enquiry, we ask for your name, telephone or WhatsApp number, email and your message. For a commission, we also ask for a description of the piece and any reference images you choose to send.
For a private appointment, we ask for your name, telephone, preferred time and the purpose of your visit. If you complete the optional digital salon brief, we also receive the occasion and style choices you select, so the house can prepare a selection for you.
For news from the house, we ask for your email and your consent. Please share only what is needed; there is no need to send identity documents or payment details through the website.
Information collected automatically, with your consent
If you accept analytics, the website loads Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. These record information such as the pages you view, the device and browser you use, your approximate location derived from your connection, and how you move through the site, for example calls, directions, searches, interest in pieces and articles, and appointment requests.
Neither service loads until you give permission. If you decline, this measurement does not take place.
Information from visits to the house
When you buy, commission, repair or leave a piece with us in store, we keep the records needed to complete that work and to issue an invoice, such as your name, contact details, a description of the piece, weights, materials and the amounts paid. Pakistani tax law, and record-keeping expected of jewellers for high-value sales, may require us to record further details about a purchase and the buyer.
How we use it, and why
To answer you: we use your details to reply to an enquiry, prepare your appointment and speak with you by WhatsApp, telephone, SMS or email. We do this because you asked us to.
To make and deliver your order: we use your details to design, make, track and hand over a commission, repair or purchase. This is needed to perform the work you have agreed with the house.
To meet legal obligations: we keep sale records for tax purposes, including GST, and records required for anti-money-laundering checks on high-value sales, and we respond to lawful requests from authorities.
For legitimate interests and with your consent: we use information to keep the website and our systems secure, prevent fraud and improve our service. Analytics and news from the house are used only with your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
Design and reference images
Reference images sent for a commission are stored securely in the house's own internal client system, are never publicly accessible, and are seen only by the craftsmen, karigars and staff making your piece. Access to them is logged.
We do not publish your reference images, or photographs of your commissioned piece that identify you, without your permission.
Camera try-on
The try-on feature uses your device camera so you can see a piece against your own reflection. The camera image is processed in your browser and is not sent to us. The camera is used only while you have the feature open, and your browser asks your permission before it starts.
Your private selection
Pieces you save to your Private selection are stored only in your own browser on your own device. They are not sent to the house unless you choose to share them with us in an enquiry or appointment request. Clearing your browser storage removes the selection.
Cookies and similar storage
Essential storage: the website keeps a small record of your consent choice so it does not ask you again on every page, and uses your browser's storage for your Private selection. These are needed for the site to work as you expect.
Optional analytics: Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity set their own cookies only after you accept. Form fields and private appointment details are masked from Clarity session diagnostics. Advertising storage and personalisation remain disabled.
You can reopen Analytics preferences from the footer at any time. Declining stops future analytics events from this website and removes accessible first-party analytics cookies. Cookies essential to the website, such as your consent choice, remain. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings.
Who we share it with
Inside the house, your information is seen by the staff and karigars who need it to answer you or make your piece.
We use a small number of outside service providers: Google for website analytics, Microsoft for Clarity session diagnostics, Meta for WhatsApp messaging, and an email provider to send and receive email. They handle information on our behalf for these purposes.
We disclose information to government, tax or law enforcement authorities when Pakistani law requires it. Ruby Jewellers does not sell, rent or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing.
Where your information is held
This website and the house's client system run on a server operated by Ruby Jewellers. Our outside service providers, including Google, Microsoft, Meta and our email provider, may process information outside Pakistan. Where that happens, the information is handled under those providers' own security and privacy commitments.
How long we keep it
Commission records are kept for seven years to meet Pakistani commercial record-keeping requirements. Appointment records are kept for one year. Sale and invoice records are kept for as long as Pakistani tax and commercial law requires.
Your email for news from the house is kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is kept for the period set in each provider's retention settings. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.
Security
Your information is protected with TLS encryption in transit, restricted staff access, logged access to commission images and rate limits on sign-in to the house's systems.
No system connected to the internet can be guaranteed completely secure. If we learn of a breach that affects your information, we will take steps to contain it and tell you where appropriate.
Your choices and rights
You may ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, subject to records we must keep by law. You may withdraw consent to analytics or to communications at any time, and you may object to marketing from the house.
Every email with news from the house includes an unsubscribe link. You can also tell us by WhatsApp, telephone or at either house.
How to make a request
Write to info@rubyjewellers.com.pk, call +92 42 35742815 or ask at either house. So that we do not give your information to someone else, we may ask you to confirm your identity, for example from the telephone number or email you used with us.
We will respond within 30 days, and we act on a deletion request within 30 days. If we cannot meet a request in full, for example because a sale record must be kept for tax purposes, we will explain why.
Children
This website is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through it. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Fraud and impersonation
Ruby Jewellers will never ask for your passwords, one-time codes or card numbers by WhatsApp, SMS, email or telephone, and will never ask you to pay through a link or to an account you have not confirmed with the house. If a message claiming to be from Ruby Jewellers seems unusual, do not reply or pay; call +92 42 35742815 to check.
Changes
We may update this notice from time to time, for example when we add a feature or a service provider. The date below reflects the latest revision, and significant changes will be shown on this page. Last revised 5 October 2026.

Our houses are open Monday to Thursday and Saturday, 10:00 to 19:00, and Friday, 10:00 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 19:00. Both are closed on Sunday.
