A Considered Bridal Jewellery Timeline

Begin with the full celebration rather than one outfit. Bring references for the nikkah, mehndi, baraat and walima, together with any family jewels that may be worn, adapted or allowed to remain exactly as they are.
Three months before
Resolve the principal pieces and their relationships: neckline, earring length, head jewellery, bangles and the weight the bride is comfortable carrying. This is the moment for drawings, stone selection and structural decisions.
The final weeks
Complete fittings in the clothes and light closest to the event. Confirm closures, balance and movement, then leave space for small adjustments. The goal is for the jewellery to belong to the bride—not for the bride to accommodate the jewellery.
